Please join CRNRP in congratulating women who are participating in our Immigrant Women’s Wealth and Asset Building Initiative (IWWABI) and graduated May 23, 2017 from entrepreneurship classes led by staff from African Economic Development Solutions.
With support provided by Otto Bremer Foundation and NRP funds from our community, these ambitious, entrepreneurially inclined women are pursuing their dream of running their own business. Other women in the IWWABI program will pursue job and career path counseling on their way to greater earning potential.
This entrepreneurship training program is one of several bundled services and resources that will help a total cohort of 11 neighborhood women leverage their skills and experience to increase their self-sufficiency and economic well-being.
We offer special thanks to AEDS staff member, Ms. Farida Mohamed, who led the classes and also Mr. Gene Gelgelu, Executive Director of AEDS who are shown in the back row, middle, of the picture below. Also shown in the back row are CRNRP staffers Dave Alderson and Hani Mohamed.
